Hello!
Hello! My name is Alejandro Vazquez and I am an an art director at the Los Angeles Times and formerly a page designer at the USA Today Design Center. With both experiences, I developed and assisted in the production of daily print newspapers across news, features, sports, and opinion. During my time as a student at CSULB, I worked with the student-run publications on campus, DIG MAG, the Daily Forty-Niner, and DÍG en Español (now known as ENYE).
With these experiences, I have expanded my skills in time management, team building, collaboration, and budgeting while also fine-tuning my skills with CUE, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Audition, Google Suites, Figma, and Flourish. With my experience, I am excited for new opportunities that come my way.
