Hello!

Hello! My name is Alejandro Vazquez and I am an L.A. native editorial designer who has experience in editorial, public relations, and business ecosystems. Aside from design, I have experience working in office settings and am highly adaptable and dedicated to assisting in every way possible. With a keen sense of detail, I’m ready to tackle any project that comes his way.

Formally, I was an art director at the Los Angeles Times and a page designer at the USA Today Design Center. With both experiences, I developed and assisted in the production of daily print newspapers across news, features, sports, and opinion. During my time as a student at CSULB, I worked with the student-run publications on campus, DIG MAG, the Daily Forty-Niner, and DÍG en Español (now known as ENYE).

With these experiences, I have expanded my skills in time management, team building, collaboration, and budgeting while also fine-tuning my skills with CUE, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Audition, Google Suites, Figma, and Flourish. With my experience, I am excited for new opportunities that come my way.
